I am writing on behalf of the Vienna Forum for Democracy and Human Rights to provide you with information regarding the exciting summer school programme, the Straniak Academy 2023. The Straniak Academy 2023 focuses on tackling plastic pollution in oceans and rivers, addressing a pressing environmental and human rights challenge. We believe that this pressing challenge requires interdisciplinary collaboration and the active involvement of young scholars, activists, and change-makers like your students.
The Straniak Academy 2023 will take place from September 10 to September 16, 2023, in the beautiful location of Debeli Rtich, Slovenia. The program offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage in a comprehensive learning experience, including a two-day Conference and a three-day Research Lab with the aim to provide knowledge, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and strengthen young leadership in the field of plastic pollution.
