I was very sad and disappointed (and astonished) at today’s lecture attendance. Only one student was present. While attendance is not formally compulsory, I expect a level of commitment and responsibility that reflects the seriousness of your studies. The lectures are not compulsory, but it are still an essential part of your learning, and choosing not to attend ultimately harms your own progress. I strongly urge you to reconsider your priorities and demonstrate the engagement.
I hope not to see a repeat of today’s situation.
