Dear Students,

As we gear up for the "Play My Game! 3D Game Jam" this Friday, June 19th, we need to finalize the technical logistics and floor plan for Galeb Avla and RLab5.

Please complete the Setup Survey here: https://e.famnit.upr.si/mod/feedback/view.php?id=142809
This survey is important for ensuring we have the correct hardware, power distribution, and space allocated for your individual game stations.

A few important notes:

  • Everyone should respond: Even if you are unfortunately unable to attend the event in person, please still open the survey and select "No" for attendance so we can accurately plan the room layout.
  • Show your work: This is the final push of the academic year. We strongly encourage all of you to present your games, regardless of whether you feel they are completely polished. Every project represents a semester of hard work, problem-solving, and creativity, and they all deserve to be played!
  • Build requirements: As a reminder, please review the Project Build section for important details regarding standalone executables and the Linux environment in RLab5.
  • All are welcome to attend: If you were unable to complete your project this academic year, you are still more than welcome to join us! We highly encourage you to come hang out, support your colleagues, cast your votes, and enjoy the afternoon with us.

Please submit your responses by Thursday, June 18th at 23:59 so we have time to prepare the venues.

If you encounter any technical difficulties or compilation issues, please reach out to me via email.

See you on Friday!

Best regards,
Milan

Test, test, 1, 2, 3, checking

Some students informed me that the previous announcement was not forwarded to their email addresses, so this message is also a quick test to see whether notifications are working properly now.

At the same time, let me repeat the most important information from the previous announcement: if you have not done so already, please complete the Setup Survey for the Play My Game! 3D Game Jam event. We need the information to finalize the technical logistics, gaming station setup, power distribution, and room layout.

Important: please complete the survey even if you cannot attend the event. In that case, simply select "No" for attendance so that we can accurately plan the available space.

I would also like to encourage everyone to showcase their projects, even if you feel they are not completely finished. The purpose of the event is to celebrate and present the work you have created throughout the semester, not just perfectly polished final products.

If you received this message via email, then it looks like the notification system is working properly this time.

See you on Friday!

Best regards,
Milan
